DAVID begat Solomon. Solomon begat Rehoboam. (ruler of Judah) Rehoboam begat Abijah. Abijah begat Asa Asa begat Jehoshephat. (as in jumping Jehoshephat!)
During Asa's reign, Ahab was ruler of Isreal. ELIJAH the prophet was sent to Ahab... So the tribe of Judah were better then the Isrealites (at that time)
